Adult soft tissue sarcoma is a condition in which malignant (cancerous) cells develop in the body’s soft tissues.
Soft tissues
Muscles, tendons (fiber bands that connect muscles to bones), fat, blood arteries, lymph vessels, nerves, and tissues are all part of the body’s soft tissues.
Adult soft tissue sarcomas can develop practically anywhere on the body, but the head, neck, arms, legs, trunk, belly, and retroperitoneum are the most prevalent sites.
