Typically, there are no symptoms particularly in early disease.

When symptoms are present, usually lower urinary tract symptoms.

They include:

1.Urinary retention (inability to pass urine) caused by advanced prostate enlargement.

2.Blood at the end of urine stream

3.Incontinence (leaking urine that you can’t control

4: Lower abdominal pain

In advanced prostate cancer the patient can manifest with fatigue, loss of appetite and unintentional weight loss

Features of metastatic disease

Bone pain – when spread has occurred especially to the spine

Lymphedema caused by obstructing metastasis in the lymph nodes
